Academies in the NAF Network Earn ‘Distinguished Award’ and ‘Model Award’

Three high school academies in the National Academy Foundation’s (NAF) network have reached Model level and five have reached Distinguished level – NAF’s highest level of achievement.

NAF provides the opportunity for students to belong to a team of teachers that work on career and college readiness skills through rigorous curriculum, student internships related to a career of interest, and portfolio activities that include technical career skills, employable skills and rigorous curriculum.

The awards are due to increased work and completion of student achievement within areas such as the Academy of Health Science, Academy of Information Technology (coding), Academy of Finance, and Academy of Hospitality and Tourism.
