Broward College Prepares for Face-to-Face and Remote Learning Spring 2021 Term

To prioritize the safety of students, faculty, and staff, Broward College has decided to continue to offer most spring courses through remote learning or online. However, the College will offer approximately 30 percent of courses face-to-face, roughly doubling the number of courses offered face-to-face in the fall 2020 term. All faculty who will be teaching face-to-face have indicated their willingness to do so, and the College has accounted for the technology and facilities to maintain social distancing per CDC guidelines. During the spring term, academic support and student services will remain mostly remote, with some offered face-to-face on a limited basis to accommodate student needs. The College will provide updates on these services at www.broward.edu/coronavirus.

All employees, students, visitors, and vendors must practice social distancing, and face coverings are required while on campus. Broward College cannot guarantee a COVID-19 free environment, but the College will comply with all CDC guidelines and continue to clean, sanitize, and disinfect all areas daily to minimize risk.

The process of reporting a positive case of COVID-19 remains the same. Employees should report positive cases to [email protected], and students should report positive cases using the Student COVID-19 Report Online Form.

Registration for the spring 2021 term, which begins January 6, 2021 is now open. Students can register here.
