Regina Ferreira has been an educator for Broward County Public Schools since 2007. Her career started at Pioneer Middle School where she taught English, advised the yearbook program and TV program before moving on Cooper City High School.  While she is an English Teacher at heart, her true passion lies in Career Technical Education. She started her CTE journey at Pioneer when she began teaching Microsoft Certification and facilitating the Virtual Enterprise-Junior Ventures for 7th and 8th graders. Two years later, she moved up to Cooper City High School with her CTE students and as the DECA advisor, was able to see them through graduation. Six years later, she continues to empower students as their business teacher, DECA Advisor, and VEI facilitator. According to Regina, the greatest return on her investment in education is the bonds she creates with her students.
