Nitin believes so strongly in the value of education and its impact on the community, especially the economic impact of tourism in Greater Fort Lauderdale, he and his family endowed the R. Motwani Family Academy of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Broward College.An active and respected member of the South Florida business community, Nitin credits much of his success to Ms. Mannee, his fifth-grade teacher Harbordale Elementary. She not only helped him become a better student, she helped develop his confidence at a young age, encouraging him to get out of his comfort zone by acting in a play about Irving Berlin. Nitin was honored when she attended his wedding almost 20 years later. He now encourages mentoring to help students broaden their horizons.
